Set into a gentle hillside in Farnham, this new timber-frame home has been designed with subtlety and restraint - a building that looks outward to the landscape while treading lightly on the ground it occupies. Designed by Baufritz’s in-house architectural team, the home will replace an older structure and offer its owners a peaceful, modern way of living. The house sits low in the landscape, protected by existing hedges and softened with planting, with a flat roofline that ensures it feels modest and discreet from the road. Timber cladding and muted materials anchor it in its context, allowing the building to quietly blend with its surroundings.
