The Crichton family chose to build this resolutely modern house on a large plot of land with a park-like garden. They wanted a home that is contemporary and designed to maximise the far reaching views. The new house with a flat roof was built where the previous bungalow and adjacent garages once stood. Large south and west-facing windows lend the house a light, airy and healthy ambience all year round.

"The house blends perfectly with its surroundings thanks to the façade combining white mineral-based render with natural wood cladding. A sculptural element on the eastern elevation adds an artistic twist. What sets this property apart are the stunning long reaching views as the land gently falls away to the south. The house is accessed via a private road lined with large trees. Uncompromising attention to detail and unrivalled eco credentials were the main reasons the Crichton family chose to build with Baufritz."
