With its steep pitched roof and façade with irregular, vertical timber cladding in an elegant silver-grey finish coated with low-maintenance weathering glaze, this detached family home exudes an elegant flair. A flush-mounted aluminum roof gutter and downpipe complement the modern wooden façade. Large skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows allow natural daylight to flood the interiors. Electric roller blinds provide protection against the sun, while French doors in the kitchen, living and dining areas offer direct access to the garden.
The clever architectural design holds plenty of surprises. Storage space is available in the most unexpected places: For example, a hidden door in the built-in wall unit behind the kitchen leads to a back kitchen; a small niche in the entrance hall is ideal for a cloakroom; and a cubby hole is concealed under the quarter-turn oak staircase leading to the first floor for extra storage. The doors inside the house are also made of solid oak, and single-strip oak parquet flooring has been laid in the living room and study on the ground floor. Extensive glazing creates a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors.
Turnkey solution – Ready to move into
The Baufritz Jubilee House is offered as a turnkey solution. It is manufactured off-site at our state-of-the-art production facilities in Erkheim in Germany and transported to the building site in the UK. In just two days, the building shell including the front door, windows and staircase can be assembled so that it is weather-proof and secure. Every stage of your self-build journey is carefully managed by our experienced team, from the initial design and planning through to the delivery of your fully finished turnkey Baufritz home.
*Price for a turnkey Jubilee House (above foundations), including the shell with energy-efficient Baufritz walls, timber and aluminium windows, solid wood doors and a timber façade. Excludes optional extras such as the entrance canopy, kitchen and furniture, as well as incidental construction costs. Prices start at £599,000 and are valid until 31 October 2026.
