Baufritz Summer Partner BBQ 2025

Our annual UK Summer Partner BBQ has become a much-anticipated tradition for Bau-Fritz GmbH & Co. KG and Baufritz (UK) Ltd, bringing together key collaborators in the sustainable construction and timber housebuilding industry.

Each year, we select an inspiring venue near our Cambridge offices to host an afternoon of connection, collaboration, and celebration - with our partners from across the UK who contribute to the success of our eco-friendly, prefabricated Baufritz homes.

This year, Murray Edwards College provided the perfect setting. A women-only constituent college of the University of Cambridge, it was founded in 1954 and named in honour of Dame Rosemary Murray, the college’s first President and the University’s first female Vice-Chancellor. The college’s iconic modernist architecture and lush gardens complemented the values we hold at Baufritz - design excellence, environmental awareness, and progressive thinking.

We were joined by an exceptional range of UK-based partners - from groundworks and renewable energy systems to lighting design, interiors, and planning consultancy - who all play a vital role in delivering our turnkey, low-carbon homes.

For the Baufritz UK team, this annual event is a valued opportunity to exchange ideas, build relationships, and strengthen collaboration across every stage of the high-performance building process - from design and engineering to final handover.
