We continue our webinar series to mark Baufritz’s double anniversary in 2026 with a lunchtime event. Baufritz is expanding into a new customer segment in the UK: Building consultant Robert Lumme presents a blueprint for adding an extension to an existing house, drawing on a real-life case study on the Channel Islands with our latest project House Adler.

Many homeowners live in houses that no longer offer enough space. But adding an extension also comes with challenges. Baufritz solved this problem by enlarging the house with a free-standing, architect-designed Baufritz extension. The old part of the house was refurbished using the same materials and the connection between the two structures concealed to create a coherent, barn-style family home.
