"In this modern bungalow the focus was on living on a single level. Care was taken to create a highly usable room layout, whilst allowing unobstructed views of the adjacent lake. And thanks to the organically insulated walls with integrated electro-protection level the owners live healthily, saving both energy and resources."

modern Bungalow - the single storey home

Modern meets nature

This modern bungalow is located by a lake, near a big city. Here the owners enjoy happy holidays  and may someday spend their golden years.
The wishes of the owners demanded architecture that was both timeless and unusual. Clean lines and no compromises; this was to make the house into a unit.
This has been successfully implemented in the form of a previously often carelessly treated building structure: the bungalow. Here an optical top form was created with a no-frills style, filigree wooden façade, coordinated, modern details and modern flat roof. On the street side it is very private and it will surprise you with its transparency on the lake side.
The communal part of the house - cooking, living, dining area, terrace and garden are demonstratively kept open and welcoming. Guests are welcome here, and next to the entrance area it even has its own barbecue. The owners have arranged the other rooms (three bedrooms and bathroom) in such a way that a separate section has been created, which is there just for the family. From the fireplace, which slightly separates the dining and living areas, to the spacious sun terrace and the high-quality fittings this house leaves nothing to be desired.
Harmoniously, a carport and a practical equipment and technical storage room is connected to the main building.
From a structurally serviceable and organic perspective this living concept is convincing: The bungalow is made of an ecological wooden construction, creating a symbiosis of holistic living standards and technical comfort. This energy-efficient home with its 37 cm thick walls - for which only materials tested for harmful substances were used – is equipped with pellet heating and stove, and has minimal heating costs. Features in all Baufritz homes, the ecological insulation made of wood shavings and  the electro smog protection panel, round off the concept.
In addition, its natural structure causes a reduction of 40 tons of CO2 and thus makes an active contribution to climate protection.
