A perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort: Barn XL is a substantial, single-storey house with a U-shaped design that is part of our Signature Homes range of off-the-shelf house designs. A kitchen and dining room at the centre of the house opens onto the living room on one side. Four large double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are situated in a separate wing. The structure is wrapped around a courtyard that provides an ideal space for the family to converge in the summer. Large windows blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living and offer fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. A skylight over the entrance hall allows natural light to flood into the house. High vaulted ceilings with exposed beams create a feeling of space. This barn-style house offers you a high degree of flexibility to make the house your own.

Barn XL is designed for a large family. It has a U-shape floor plan with an inviting kitchen and dining area at the centre. The living room is spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the garden. The bedroom wing has four doubles with en-suite bathrooms. A double-height vaulted ceiling with exposed oak beams in the kitchen and living room is an eye-catcher.

This spacious barn-style house has a sleek, contemporary look. Built with great attention to detail, it attests to the highest level of German craftsmanship. A choice of claddings is available for the façade and roof. The mass of the steep pitched roof is broken by a skylight with fixed glazing that cannot be opened.

Everyone needs a little privacy. The side of the house facing the drive or road is closed off with fewer windows to create a sense of seclusion. Barn XL meets the highest energy efficiency standards and is fitted with mechanical ventilation with heat recovery and air-source heat pumps as standard. Photovoltaic panels can be fitted to the roof as an option.
