Join us at Grand Designs LIVE Talks on May 11th, 2024, at 1 pm, as Baufritz presents its sustainable building solutions. Our Head Architect and CEO, Oliver Rehm, will discuss "Changing the way we build to achieve net zero," addressing the urgent need to rethink construction methods in response to our changing climate.

As extreme weather events become increasingly frequent and average temperatures surpass the 1.5C mark, we urgently need to change the way we build. Baufritz homes demonstrate that sustainable construction is not incompatible with bespoke design. We consider the entire life cycle of a house – from sourcing the raw materials all the way to dismantling it and recycling its components. Baufritz homes are built with local, sustainably grown European timber and manufactured off-site to minimize waste and save energy. The timber absorbs large amounts of CO2 and the wood shavings are turned into a patented natural insulation material.
