Two in one: at first glance, this may look like a simple detached house. On closer inspection, there are two separate entrances: it's a genius, house-within-a-house solution! Entry to the ground-floor unit is via the front door, while the second unit can be accessed using an external staircase. Thus both sets of occupants are independent and can use the integrated accommodation in their own way. The entire building is constructed to the usual Baufritz premium quality standards, naturally.

LOTS OF LIFE IN A SINGLE BUILD

The larger the population in a country, the more densely it is built up. This is a challenge Baufritz have addressed, working with architecture professor Hans-Georg Stotz to seek innovative and sometimes surprising solutions while maintaining our usual high quality standards. Four different architecture concepts for multi-family buildings emerged from this cooperation; all have charm and sophistication, and within each one the individual occupants have a maximum of autonomy.

TWO IN ONE

At first glance, this may look like a simple detached house. On closer inspection, there are two separate entrances: it's a genius, house-within-a-house solution! Entry to the ground-floor unit is via the front door, while the second unit can be accessed using an external staircase. Thus both sets of occupants are independent and can use the integrated accommodation in their own way.
The carport to either side of each unit creates ample space between the individual buildings in the development.

WHAT DO OUR CUSTOMERS WANT?

- A multi-family building in a tight space
- Separate entrances for maximum independence
- To save space and retain a healthy living environment

WHAT SOLUTIONS DO WE OFFER?

The first option is a step-free ground-floor home over 140m² which would suit families, older people or those with a disability, while the second 115m² maisonette is split across two storeys and ideal for a freelance worker or couple.
Occupants of the maisonette can enjoy some fresh air on their terraces, balconies and roof terraces. Where the building has a pitched roof, the second floor of the maisonette can even accommodate a loft-style studio.

Our creative implementation and cost calculations are driven by you knowing exactly what you want. So take a look at our ideas and designs for some inspiration: we provide detailed examples of how multi-family architecture can be cleverly conceived, in harmony with nature.

BAUFRITZ QUALITY MEANS VALUABLE PROPERTY, LONG TERM

Experts in banking and building single out Baufritz properties as having a high resale value. This value is created by their design, by their healthy construction method and certified cradle-to-cradle sustainability, and by their contribution to climate protection. These qualities can only appreciate in value: Baufritz buildings are well worth living and investing in, now and for future generations.

INTELLIGENT LONG-TERM COST SAVINGS

The flexibility of Baufritz architecture allows our buildings to be extended by a further floor. Features facilitating this include a hidden door frame which can be opened up as required. Another option is to make internal and external walls non load-bearing, which allows rooms to be changed or extended without difficulty on either side of the wall. This allows Baufritz homes the flexibility to fit your future plans and living arrangements.

All Baufritz buildings can be planned as accessible on request, either fully or in part.
